Birth and death information from "A History of Michael Worley" by Audrey L. Woodruff, C.G.R.S. Another tree I found had him born Surry Co., NC. Mrs. Woodruff has him died 1843 in Dade Co., MO. She said that his intestate estate is recorded at Probate book A, page 21, where Letters of Administration were granted to Rebecca Worley and Samuel S. Smith. Nancy's obituary speaks of her half-brother, Samuel S. Smith. The settlement remained in the courts until May 1847 when the final settlement was made. She also says "a half dozen or more times the heirs of Frederick Worley are listed, always in the same order, (children) Joseph Worley, William Worley, James Duffield and his wife Catherine Duffield, all of Putnam county, Indiana; Andrew Worley of Morgan county, William M Tyler and his wife Susannah Tyler of Clay county; Elias Worley of Illinois, Nancy Worley of Dade county, Missouri; and Malinda Worley, the widow of Martin Worley, deceased, and her minor children, Bluford Worley, John Worley, and Andrew Worley whose place of residence is unknown.
