"SWIRE - In Santa Cruz, December 31, 1954, John W. Swire, husband of the late Lelia A. Swire: father of Mrs. Lelia Sullivan of Santa Cruz, Mabel Henderson of Santa Rosa, Robert Swire of Santa Cruz, the late Dr. Frank Swire of Santa Rosa: also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Native of Wisconsin, aged 87 years.
Member of First Presbyterian Church of Santa Cruz and life member of Lodge No. 55 A. F. & A. M. of Grand Junction, Colorado.
Private services will be held in White's chapel, 138 Walnut Ave., Monday, January 3 at two o'clock p. m. Rev. Thos. Ewing and Santa Cruz Lodge No. 38 F. & A. M. will officiate.
Interment in I.O.O.F. cemetery."
