Anna Salierno has his birth date as July 1842. The census and the Great Register definitely put him younger. Anna also had Salisbury, LaSalle Co., IL, as birthplace on an early, handwritten family group sheet.

I had a marriage date of 5 May 1865 for him and Arminta Fancher, but she would have been only 10. Several trees at ancestry have the 1870 date, but with no sources.
