Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Lena McCoy, 45, of Three Rivers who died Monday in the Exeter Memorial hospital where she was taken after becoming ill on Saturday, were held yesterday afternoon in the Hadley Funeral Chapel in Exeter.
J. Curtus Manor officiated at the services. Music was by the Church of Christ quartet. Burial followed in the Exeter Cemetery. Casket bearers were Salvatore Natoli, Dominick Lauricella, Floyd Herzog, Irvin Maze,Willard Clay and Hansen Kimbrough.
A native of Seminole, Okla., she attended schools in Marmadule, Ark.,until she and her parents moved to Exeter in 1930 and she completed her education in Exeter.
She had been employed in a Three Rivers restaurant for the past four years.
Survivors include her two sons, Michael and Timothy McCoy of Three Rivers; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Rice of Visalia; a brother, Leo Rice of Exeter; and two sisters, Geraldine Goerzen of Exeter and Mrs. Pauline Cook of Visalia."
