James Dewees Webb

He was a physician. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University with his brother and graduated in the same class of 1848. He received his MD degree from Transylvania Medical College of Lexington, KY in 1853. During the Civil War, he served as asst. surgeon to the 2nd and 12th regiments, OVI, and then practiced medicine until his death. He became a member of the Cincinnati Literary Club in 1855. He did not marry.
