Passing of Mrs Peterson. Mrs Polly Luella Peterson was born in St Lawrence County, New York in 1849. At the age of eleven she came to Michigan with her parents and lived in Grand Traverse county. When she was twenty-four years old she was married to Mr. Louie Peterson and lived in Frankfort over thirty years. The purchased a farm at Joyfieldwhere they lived at the time of her husbands death, may 28, 1918. September 21, 1919 she went to Durand, this state to live with her daughter, Mrs. Emma Ackerman, previous to moving to Corunna. She was taken sick December 18, and on the 25th death came to relieve her of hersuffering. She was a very kind and loving mother and a good Christian. She leaves to mourn, two daughters, Mrs. Emma Ackerman and Mrs. John Staff of Big Bay, Michigan. One son, Willis Peterson of Frankfort. Alsofour sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held at the Joyfieldtown hall, December 29. Rev. C. W. Dunn of Benzonia, conducted the service. D. C. Reynolds funeral director. Interment in Joyfield cemetery(See Ref:R1289).
