Individual Details
Hans Meyer Senior
(Abt 1665 - 1722)
Hans Meyer was wounded in 1690 war, according to a source I cannot locate. I am not sure what war this would have been. Hans immigrated to America in 1717.
On 30 November 1717, Hans patented 350 acres in present-day Pequea Township, and on 10 February 1719 he purchased 300 adjacent acres on Conestoga Creek.
Hans Meyer's parents are in dispute. Jay listed Hans Jacob Myers (no dates) and Margareth Kindig (1633-1701) as Hans Meyer's parents. Franklin Heatwole gave Hans Meyer (1630-?) and Anna Bauman (no dates) as his parents.
