Hans Meyer Junior

(Abt 1695 - Abt 1760)

Hans Meyer bought more than 1,700 acres over his lifetime, including farms in Lancaster Borough and Groffdale in the Earl Township. Hans' Froschauer Bible was given to his son, Jacob, and now is in the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society Library. It was printed in Zurich in 1560, and has extremely rare hand-colored woodcuts.
