Charles "China Charley" Leaman

Charles Leaman was ordained a Presbyterian minister in 1873, after graduating from Union Theological Seminary in New York. In 1874, Reverend Charles Leaman went to China as a missionary. In China, Charles wore his hair in a queue, drove a motorcycle and translated parts of the Bible into simplified Chinese.
