John Groff Royer

John Royer became a deacon in 1862, moved to Miami Valley in 1863, and to Indiana in 1871. John was elected minister 1873 and became an elder in 1882. John Royer was a national leader in the Brethren denomination. He taught in Union County, Pennsylvania, and in Ohio and Indiana. John Royer served as president of Mount Morris College in Illinois for twenty years.
