Maria may be "Maria Groff," born 5 August 1735 in Strasburg, died 10 July 1801 in Strasburg.

Death

John Miller died on 18 August 1828, according to Theodore Herr, but I doubt the accuracy. Theodore Herr also gave John's birth date as 24 November 1750. This date and the other dates given for John Miller and Barbara Herr do not mess with what is know about this couple. I have guessed that Theodore Herr had correct dates for a different John Miller.

Marriage

Barbara Herr is listed as marrying John Miller and Heinrich Shaub by Jane Best, but the dates do not fit. I doubt that the same Barbara Herr married both.

Birth

John Miller's birth date was given as 24 November 1750 by Theordore Herr, but this date seems unlikely if Barbara Herr, his wife, is the daughter of Christian Herr and Anna Bare.
