Christian Scheller was a doctor in Hagerstown, Maryland and president of the Hagerstown Board of Health. He graduated from Juniata College, Pennsylvania and, in 1883, from Jefferson Medical College, Pennsylvania. He studied medicine under Dr. Daniel F. Royer in Shady Grove, Franklin, Pennsylvania.
