Samuel Henry MILLER
(1835 - 2 May 1906)
Samuel Miller was a charter member of the ? and Sharpsburg Turnpike Company. In 1866 he went to California on the first train to cross the plains. He saw the golden spike driven in Utah. He bought 400 acres in Yolo County, California. He later moved to Colusa County. Still dissatisfied, he returned to Maryland. He was an elder in the Christ Reformed Church.
