Silas N. Hershey

Silas Hershey was a farmer. Silas's granddaughter, Sara Strambuagh, wrote a historical novel in which Silas was the lead character. Entitled "I Hear the Reaper's Song," the novel tells of the death of Silas's sister, Barbara, as seen through the eyes of a young Silas.
