Marriage
Henry Hershey and Veronica Sanvely were married at the parsonage of the Holy Lutheran Church in Lancaster, Pennslyvania. It was selected as a neutral site. Veronica was Mennonite, but Henry was not. Henry was not permitted to be married in the Mennonite meeting house because he was "a free thinker."Endnotes
