John Nicholas Brumbaugh

While farming was John Brumbaugh's principal occupation, he also served as a judge of the Orphan's Court (1903) and sheriff of Washington County, Maryland (1891). In 1897 he was defeated in election for county commissioner. In addition, he was a school trustee and director of the Hagestown and Greencastle Turnpike.
