Hans Herr's wife's name is somewhat confused. Jane Best gave it as Barbel Kundig (born around 1643 in Switzerland). Hanspeter Jecker gave it as Elsbeth Lotscher (born around 1650 in Switzerland). Elizabeth's full name was given as Elizabeth Mylin Kendig Herr on the corrections page (787) of Theordore Herr's book. However, Allan Garber noted that there was no evidence that Hans Herr wed Elisabeth Kendig.

Marriage
Elsbeth Lotcher and Hans Herr may have had six sons, no daughters. Five sons are certain, and one son additional son is possible: Hans George Herr, who was living a Palatinate living in London in 1717. His name was on a list of Palatinates willing to return to Germany.Endnotes
