Theodorus "Durst" Aebi
( - 1727)
Theodorus Eby moved with his parents to Alsace or Palantinate by 1690, according to Richard Eby He worked as a millright.
In 1717, Theodorus came to America. On 10 May 1718 he agreed to buy 300 acres on the west bank of Conestoga Creek, but he never paid. Not clear why, or what the consequences were. At any rate, on 24 August 1724 he had surveyed 307 acres were surveyed on both sides of Mill Creek in present day Earl Township.
His home, built in 1727, still stands at the intersection of Peters Road and Holland Road.

Theodorus Eby died around December 11, according to Richard Buckwalter.Birth
Theodorus Aebi may have been born on 25 April 1663 in Switzerland, according to Allan Garber. Where in Switzerland has many answers. Richard Eby and many eariler Eby genealogists concluded that Theodorus Eby was born in Bern. Others said Zurich, and one listed Oberbuchsiten, Solothurn, Switzerland.Richard Buckwalter gave Theodorus' birth year as 1664.
Burial
