John Herr may be the son of Rudolph Herr, Sr. and Barbara Brubaker, or the son of Abraham Herr (died 1725) and Anna (maybe Bar). There are two John/Johannes Herrs, one born 1710 and one 1727.
No John/Johannes is listed by Allan Garber as a child of Rudolph Herr, Sr. and Barbara Brubaker. However, it is possible that he is a child of Rudolph and another wive, as Rudolph had three wives and Allan Garber only gives children for Barbara. John's birth year is important. If the 1727 birth year is correct, John could not be the son of Abraham Herr, who died in 1725.
