Jacob Guth Junior

Jacob Guth, Jr. settled in Pequea Valley in 1711, along with his brother, Hans Guth, as tenants of John Randolph Bondeli. In 1718, both Guth brothers moved to Upper Leacock along a branch of the Conestoga Creek, near Groffdale. Jacob became a naturalized British citizen 14 February 1729/1730 as Jacob Goot.
Jacob Guth may have had two sons: Jacob Guth (1722-1797), who wed Elisabeth, first, and then, Barbara; and Peter Guth, who married Anna Leiter, daughter of Jacob Leiter.
