Niklaus Erb may have married twice. If so, his first wife may have been "Magdalean Widmer, who died by 1737--well before." Allan Garber noted that NIklaus Erb came to America in 1737 with wife, Catrina/Catherina, who died after 20 November 1747. Also aboard the Charming Nancy were six of Niklaus' eight children. I do not know the children's mother.
