Last Will and Testament of Cora Eilers, deceased.Probated December 18th 1915
Know all men by these presents:
I, Cora Eilers, being of sound mind and memory, hereby publish and declare this my last will and testament, that is to say,
Item I. I direct that first there shall be paid out of my estate all my just debts.
Item II. Unto my son Fred Eilers, I give and bequeath the sum of twenty five dollars ($25.00)
Item III. All the rest and residue of my property, both real and personal. I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Emogene Eilers.
Item IV. I hereby nominate to be the executor of this my last will and testament C. H. Shipman of Monticello, Iowa, without bonds.

Death
Mrs. Cora Eilers Died Yesterday.Mrs. Cora Eilers died, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S Houser, yesterday afternoon. She had been seriously ill several months She went to a Dubuque hospital fo examination and medical consultation, and it was then decided that surgery could do nothing to arrest the course of the malady with which she was afflicted. Soon thereafter she began to decline rapidly. Las Friday, her son, Fred, who resides in Chicago, was sent for because of her rapid decline. He and his sister Imogene were with their mother during the closing days of her life.
Mrs. Eilers was born in Monticello, her parents being now the oldest living settlers of the town. She spent all her life here, except a few years spent in Nebraska immediately following her marriage. She is survived by two children, those herein before named. One son, George died when a few years old.
Mrs. Eilers was born June 25, 1867 She was married to William G. Eilers September 6, 1887. The funeral services will be held at the Houser home, next Friday afternoon, at 2 o'clock.
