Death
Funeral Today For Mrs HoagMrs. Helen Heiken Hoag, wife of L. S. (Steve) Hoag, died at John McDonald hospital Monday afternoon, Aug. 15, following an illness of several months duration.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the First Presbyterian church here with Rev. Arnold Buol officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Hoag was born Feb. 17, 1911 near Monticello, the daughter of G. J. and Mary Eiben Heiken. She was married Sept. 1, 1939.
The deceased lived in the Monticello community her entire life, and was a member of the Presbyterian church, American Legion Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Pythian Sisters, Business and Professional Women and the Monticello Garden club.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter , Helen Ann: a son. Thomas Frederick; her mother, Mrs. Mary Heiken; one sister, Berniece, Mrs Henry E. Husman, and one brother Henry Heiken, both of Scotch Grove.
Pallbearers will be Robert Husman, James Husman, Jack Heiken, James Heiken, LuVerne Plueger and Richard Strother.
