Marriage
Castle Grove, Feb 10The marriage of Mr. Henry Johnson and Miss Maggie Heiken will be solemnised on Thursday of this week. Mr. Johnson is a stranger to many of our people, but is well spoken of by those who know him best. Miss Heiken is a daughter of Mrs. Albert Heiken, and is an accomplished young lady and highly esteemed by her acquaintances. The young couple will make their home on the Burrack farm.
Miss Margaret Heiken, the daughter of Albert Heiken of Castle Grove township, and Mr. Henry Johnson were married at 10 o'clock today at the home of the bride's mother, by Rev. Reincke. The newly married couple will make their home on the John Burrack farm in Castle Grove township.

HENRY G. JOHNSON MONTICELLO—Funeral services for Henry G, Johnson, 85, were held Saturday afternoon, March 3, at SS. Peter and Paul Lutheran church in Castle Grove. Rev. Richard Zellmer officiated. Burial was held in Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Johnson, a resident of Monticello for 18 years, died Feb. 28 at his home. He had been ill several months. He was born June 23, 1876 in Wieserfeen, Repsholt, Germany, and was the son of Julf and Meta Collman Johnson. he came to the United States when 17 years old and settled in the Monticello community.On Feb. 12, 1903, he was married to Margareta Heiken in Castle Grove township. They lived on farms in Delaware and Jones county until moving to Monticello in 1944.
Surviving are his wife of the home; two sons, Clarence and Albert of Monticello; two daughters, Laura, Mrs. Maurice Montgomery and Irene, Mrs. John Vittengle, also of Monticello, and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Herman Ortgies, Donald Hagen, Max Specht Jack Day, Leslie Heiken and Carl Schoon.
