Abraham Townsend

(20 May 1682 - 20 May 1746)

Abraham Townsend was mentioned as tenant on his father's farm in May 1716, in conveyances between Edward Watts and William Antram. On June 12, 1728, the farm was described as lately in the possession of Abraham Townsend, but then of Samuel Watts. Abraham married Mary Eustace, daughter of William Eustace of the adjoining farm. He removed to Maine and died in 1746 (Chamberlain 307). He was an early settler of Biddeford Maine (Beers 1665).
