Tönnjes Cornelius Eiben

Tönjes first lived in Alter Postweg 21, then he bought a house with surrounding land. Here he lived and died. After his death someone of his family owned it short, but then the house was torn down. [from Onno Sjuts]
He was a laborer in Updorf near Wittmund, only son of the late worker in Carolinengroden. [Ursula Lottmann]

Johann Eiben and Frauke Eilts
daughter - Johanna Henrietta Eiben (Hanna) b. Germany, She came to Illinois c. 1888 around the age of 3. Her mother passed aways in Germany and her father Johann (or Johannus) sent her to live with friends here. He came to America later. My cousin says that letters written to Johann were postmarked Aurich (Ostfiesland) near Bremen
