"There is an Eliza Ann Simmons, wife of Francis Yonge Simmons, daughter of John H.[R?] Mathews, 22 yr 9 mo 23 da. No date given. She is buried at Yonge Family Cemetery on Yonges Island. There is no listing for that man. Jeanne" Jeanne SCLA@aol.com of the Edisto group. She is getting this from a book of cemeteries. In spite of the conflicts with other data, (she was 26 when Clifford was born), I'm sure it is her.
