Mercy, m (1) Vassalborough 22 Nov 1777 Reuben Page of Vassalborough (VR), b c1722 (from ae at death), d Belgrade 2 May 1799 ae 77y (VR, Robert R. McCausland and Cynthia Mac Alman McCausland, eds., The Diary of Martha Ballard 1785-1812 [1992], p 479): m (2) int Belgrade 16 May 1801 Robinson Mills (VR) of Belgrade (1800 USC, various deeds 1790-1800). Reuben Page "of a place to the westward of Vassalborough but not of any town" sold land on the west side of the Ken. River in Vassalborough on 12 Feb 1779 with Marcy [sic] Page releasing her dower rights (Lin Co deed, 2:581-82). He was prob at least 30y older that Mercy. The Belgrade VR state that Mercy res Belgrade in 1796 and that she was a widow when she had the births of her children rec there (Reynolds 146)
