Jonathan Bliss
(1575 - 1580 - 1635)
Jonathan Bliss resided in Daventry, England and had about six children, including Thomas and Mary. He suffered with his father from Archbishop Laud's persecution of Puritans. After heavy fines and ill treatment, he died of fever contracted during his long imprisonment. Jonathan had intended to come to America with his brothers Thomas and George, but his illness and death on 1635 left his brothers to emigrate without him in the fall of that year.
