Thomas Castellaw
(Abt 1720 - 10 Apr 1790)
Some think that the Sarah Castellaw who married Jesse Barfield is the daughter of this Thomas, but while Thomas Castellow/Castellaw, son of James did have a daughter Sarah, but he didn't get md. until 1753. Thomas's daughter Sarah md. Edward Bush.
Thomas moved from North Carolina to South Carolina after 1761 when he sold land to Luke Mizell and William Coker but before 1767.

One mesuage or tract of land situate lying and being in the county aforesaid on the north side of Goshen Swamp containing 300 acres ....

Beginning at Moses Taylor lower line and runs south ... which land was granted to the said Castellaw by Patent Granted by Gabriel Johnston 25 March 1748......
