No children, farmed in Delaware County, south of Sand Springs on the west side of Hwy 38. In early 60's retired and would travel to Arizona for the winter.
Moved to Monticello in 1989 after they were unable to make the drive to AZ.

While shooting some ground squirrels Sunday afternoon, Glenn Eiler of Lovell township received severe powder burns in both eyes when the powder in his gun back fired. Mr. Eiler was given Immediate medical treatment and the sight of both eyes will be saved.
