Death

Charles Bruce Born on April 28, 1918, in Chanute, Kansas, passed away on January 5, 2006 in San Jose, California at the age of 87. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Charlene. Charles is survived by his four children and their spouses; Carol (Earl) Dornberger, Joyce (Clay) Lyon, Diane (Arnie) Lawrence and Robert (Vicki) Bruce; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, in the Chapel of Roses, Oak Hill Funeral Home 300 Curtner Ave San Jose. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, at the funeral home. The family has requested donations be made to Odyssey Healthcare 1500 Hamilton Ave. Suite 212 Campbell, CA 95008.Published in San Jose Mercury News on Jan. 9, 2006
