Plant engineer at Fiber Glass in Santa Clara. After retirement, moved to Las Vegas, NV. Since moved back to Calif., and resided in Roseville, Sacramento Co..

Pfc. Fred Duval, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Duval of the Purissima and Robleda roads Purissima district, has completed his basic army training at Fresno and is now at Amarillo, Tex., where he is taking further training and courses in preparation for air force gunnery and mechanics.
Fred Duval graduated last June from Palo Alto High School.

....Pfc. Robert Wise has completed aircraft power plant training at the army air forces training command at Chanute Field, Ill., and is now stationed at the Colorado air base. Pfc. Frederick Duval has also completed the course at Chanute Field.

Pfc. Fred Duval will leave today for Clovis, N. M., after spending a week and a half with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Duval of the Purissima and Robleda roads, Purissima district.
Private Duval came here from Denver, where he took training in armament. He also has trained in air force gunnery and mechanics, and expects to be assigned to a plane crew for flight training when he gets to his new station.
