Alfred Thomas has a paper trail to Robert D. Jones in Edmonson County KY and believes he married Mary Hayse about 1836. Robert was born about 1808. He has several indications that he is the son of James and Jemima Jones, but no proof yet. He has four or five of James daughters. By census he appeared to have two sons and seven or eight daughters.
