Hannah was Hezekiah's second cousin and her father lived in Haverhill just across the river from Andover. Her exact birth is a little uncertain but without doubt was between 1707 and 1706. She died in Amherst probably at the home of her son, Hezekiah Lovejoy. It has been stated good authority that her age at death was 101 years, seven months and thirteen days, and although careful investigation fails to record her birth to correspond with this statement (namely May 18, 1704), it is safe to regard the family tradition as correct. Hannah Austin Lovejoy's chief claim to fame is that she had had at the time of her death 352 descendants as follows: 11 children; 57 grandchildren, 233 great grandchildren and 51 great, great grandchildren.
She was blind in her old age.
