Term 1851 We the undersigned commifsioners appointed by the Court - - - proceed on the 13th day of December 1850 to divide & make partition between and among, Blake Barfield & George Barfield, Erasmus B. Lee & Wife Narcifsa, Sarah Barfield, Widow, Cullin Barfield & Bowdoin Grantham & Wife Cherry, Willis B. Barefield (sic), Joseph Breece & wife Edith Elizabeth, Granger Barefield (sic) Powel Blackmon & Wife Polly Ann (sic) & John F. Barefield (sic). Whereupon we leave made and do hereby make the following appropriations among the respective claimants in severalty that is to say -----In the division of the slaves belonging to the estate of Frederick Barefield, (sic) dec'd.REDERICK BAREFIELD, dec’d
JACOB lot no. 1 valued at $700 to BLAKE BAREFIELD lot no. 1 receive from lot no. 5 $22.74.
BRISTON lot no. 2 valued at $750 to GEORGE BAREFIELD lot no. 2 receive from lot no. 5 $38.63
ISBEL and ISAAC lot no. 3 valued at $650 – to ERASMUS BLEE & wife NARCIFSA lot no. 3 receive from lot no. 11 #136.37
JUDY and SIMON lot no. 4 valued at $700 to WIDOW lot no. 4 receive from lot no. 9 $86.37
JULIAN & CUBIE lot no. 5 v’d at $850 to CULLEN BAREFIELD& lot no. 5 pay to lot no. 1 $22.74 and to lot no. 2 $38.63.
