Jesse Keith born 1810, Muhlenberg County Kentucky, Married his 1st cousin Margaret Keith (fathers name unknown) on Nov. 5, 1829, 2nd wife, Margaret Nelson, on Aug. 4, 1867 in Pike Cty Ind. Evidently Alexander son, William, moved to Texas in 1849 settling in Titus Cty, and several o Jesse & Alvin's children moved there about 1890. It seems that each time the Keith's moved, it was to settle new land recently opened by the government for settlement by Land Grants & etc. Most of Johnathan's descendants are living near Witchita Falls on both the Texas and Oklahoma sides of the Red River. I don't know where Jesse died, or if he came to Texas with the children.
