Miss Leona Mary Biesanz, 69, Gilmore Valley, died this morning at the Winona General Hospital following a years' illness.
Funeral services will be held Monay at St Mary's Catholic Church at 9 am, the Rev Harold Jewison officiating. Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Burke Funeral Home Sunday afternoon and evening. Father Jewison will say the Rosary at 8 pm Sunday.
Born Dec 20, 1885 in Gilmore Valley, she was a lifelong Winona area resident.
Surviving are: Two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Liebe, Owatonna, and Mrs. J. C. (Florence) Riley, Marengo, Iowa, and four brothers, Frank D. Biesanz, Gilmore Valley; Charles Biesanz, 365 Johnson St; Fred Biesanz, Hastings, and William Biesanz, White Salmon, Wash.

Miss Leona Biesanz
Funeral services for Miss leona Mary Biesanz, 69, Gilmore Valley, who died Friday at the Winona General Hospital, were held this morning at St Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev Harry P Jewison officiating.
Burial was in St Mary's Cemetery with Joseph Liebe, William Biesanz and Ted Biesanz; john Liebe, Rochester; Philip Biesanz, Hastings and Robert Biesanz, Mason City, Iowa as pallbearers. All are nephews. The Rosary Society of St Mary's Catholic Church attended the Mass in a group.
Attending from out of town were: Mr and Mrs Fred J Biesanz, Hastings; Mr and Mrs J. C. Riley, Marengo, Iowa; Mrs. John Liebe, Rochester; Mrs. Murial Heine, Miss Rose Heine and Thomas Heine, all of Faribault; Mrs. Ann Roth and Miss Janet Roth, both of Owatonna; Mrs Eva Griffin, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Robert Biesanz, Mason City, Iowa.
