Biography

Rev. John Stockton, father of Prudence, was Parson at Alcestor, Warwickshire, from 20 Dec 1578 to 1595, when he was appointed to Rector at Kimcote and Walton, Leicester. So Prudence was born in Alcestor, and married in Kimcote. [1]
She was married to Edward Holyoke at Kimcote, Leicestershire, on 17 June 1612. Record of this marriage was found and reported in 1981.[2]
Prudence Holyoke died before 1648, when Edward Holyoke married Anne, the widow of Richard Tuttle. [3]
