Chestertown, Maryland, Saturday, January 25, 1908.
Mrs. Juliet Gover Streett, wife of Joseph M. Streett, editor of the Harford Democrat and president of the Maryland Democratic Editors' Association, died Thursday of last week at her home in Belair of acute indigestion. She was a devoted member of Emmanuel Protestant Episcopal church, Belair, and was a constant attendant upon its services whenever her health permitted. Besides a husband, she is survived by four daughters--Mrs. William J. Price, Jr. (Juliet Evans Gover Streett), of Centreville; Mrs. Swepson Earle (Mabel Streett); Mrs. Frank H. Jacobs (Elizabeth Streett); and Miss Grace Rogers Streett (subsequently married to Dr. Robert Stevens Page)--and one son, Mr. G.(George) Gover Streett (married Eleanor Ogier), the latter being connected with his father in the newspaper business.
