Orville Greminger
June 11, 1924-Feb. 7, 1995
The funeral for Orville B. Greminger, 70, Detroit Lakes, Minn., will be at 11 Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frazee, Minn. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 today, with a prayer service at 7, in West-Kjos Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes, and one hour before services in the church. He died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995
Mr. Greminger was born June 11, 1924, in Detroit Lakes, where he grew up and attended school. He later moved to Renton, Wash. He served with the U.S. Army during World War 11 from 1943 to 1945 in New Guinea, the Philippines and Luzon. After military service he returned to Detroit Lakes.
He moved to Great Falls, Mont., where he worked for four years. On Sept. 17, 1949, he married Alice Murray in Great Falls. They lived for eight years in Renton, moving in 1960 to a farm near Detroit Lakes. He farmed and worked for Bye Construction Co. of Fargo until retiring.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, Jeffery (Virginia), Steven and Scott, all Detroit Lakes, Russell, Fergus Falls, Minn.; two daughters, Bonnie (Vern) Wolff, Nevis, Minn., Sheryl Greminger, Detroit Lakes; four brothers, LaVerne (Nancy), Detroit Lakes, LeRoy (Evelyn), Renton, Matthew (Grace), Graham, Wash., George (Kay), Kent, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
