LeRoy "Red" F. Greminger
Grandpa Roy passed on peacefully at home with his family on January 5, 2000. Born April 27, 1922 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, he joined the army and fought in WW11 from 1942-1945. In the early 50's he made Renton his home working at Pacific Car & Foundry and from 1955-1982 worked at Associated Grocery retiring from the Teamsters Union Local 174. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, which gave people alot of good stories and memories. He loved his family, and helping people in need.
He was preceded in death by his 43 year companion Evelyn Greminger, brothers Laverne, Bud & Orville Greminger and Jackie Randall, whom he raised.
He's survived by Kent, Cynde, Corissa and Kevin Correa, Vivienne GeRoy, George and Louie Reichert, Larry Smith, Dick Miller, Jennifer Marshall, Mike Randall, Jerry Bancraft and numerous nieces and nephews.
At LeRoy's request there is no service. Memorials can be made to your local food bank or to the homeless. He will be greatly missed by many.
