Mrs. Mary Long Dies
Suddenly in St Cloud
Mrs. Mary Long, 64, died suddenly last night at 9 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.S. Putnam, of St Cloud. She was stricken while sitting in a chair conversing with her daughter. Mrs. Long had been spending the winter in Minneapolis and went to St Cloud three weeks ago to visit before returning to her home here. Although subject to high blood pressure she had not been ill.
The body will be brought here this afternoon and funeral services will be held at the home of Mr and Mrs Arthur Reynolds Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at the Congregational Church at 2:30. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Mary Elizabeth Morgan was born in Litchfield, May 23, 1870, and moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Morgan to Holdingford when eight years of age. She was married to Frank Long in 1889. She has been a resident of Little Falls for many years.
Surviving children are: Harvey, San Francisco; Mrs. E.A. Sheridan, Livingston, Mont., Mrs. W.H.Dean, Mrs G.P.Adams, Minneapolis; Mrs. W.S. Putnam and Frank, Jr, and Norman, St Cloud; Mrs Arthur Reynolds and Geraldine, Little Falls.
