Wikitrees
Elizabeth was born in 1562. Elizabeth Stokes and John Holliocke/Holliock married September 22, 1583, when he was over forty and she was twenty-one. Edward Holyoke was born to them February 15, 1586. John Holliock died when their son was about a year and a half old. Elizabeth married again. Edward was later the chief beneficiary of his great-uncle's will, which may help explain his wealth, second only to Lord Brooks in town of Rumney Marsh after his emigration to Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Elizabeth Stokes passed away about 1624.
