Descendant of David Jameson and of William Mauzy. 
Daughter of Abram G. Mauzy and Emily Jameson, his wife. 
Granddaughter of Peter Mauzy and Sarah Gooding, his wife; Wesley Jameson and Mary Redd, his wife. 
Gr-granddaughter of William Mauzy and Ursula Arnold, his wife; David Jameson and Hannah Richards, his wife. 
David Jameson (1757-1833) served as a private in the 2nd battalion, 2nd establishment, 2nd New Jersey regiment, commanded by Lieut.-Col. Francis Barber, 1783. He was born in New Jersey; died in Bourbon County, Ky. 
William Mauzy (1755-1837) was a soldier in Capt. Rolly Brown's company, Garrard's regiment of Virginia militia, 1779. He reenlisted, 1780, and was with the detachment sent up the York River by Gen. Anthony Wayne to clear the road for the northern army and was at the siege of Yorktown. In 1833 he was placed on the pension roll. He was born in Virginia; died in Indiana. Also No. 16643.
