Anna Maria Doster

Anna Marie and sons Adam, John and Christian left Germany in 1852 to come to America. They spent several years in Campbell County, Kentucky before going to Minnesota.
After son, Christian, married Katherine Dressler in Campbell Co, in 1855, they all except John walked to Minnesota. John was already in St Joseph and had a house built. They were among the first families to move to St Cloud in 1855. They actually settled in St Joseph township 6 miles west of St Cloud. Son, George, and his family arrived in St Joseph township by 1857.

The boys purchased land by buying Bounty Land Warrants. Anna Marie lived with Adam. Adam was not married. John did not marry until after his services in the Civil War. In 1857 the boys files naturalization papers as this was a requirement of the Bounty Land Warrants.

John died in July 1881. Anna Marie died in Nov 1882. Adam died in May 1883 and George died in Sept 1890.
