Sauk Centre - Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Nov 26 at Stephan-Stein Funeral Home Chapel, Long Prairie for Alice M. Yager, 83, Route 2, who died Monday at Melrose Hospital.

The Rev. Donna VanVoorhis will officiate. Burial will be in Kandota Cemetery, Todd County.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Long Prairie.

Alice Yager was born Nov. 17, 1904, in LeSueur to Adolph and Mary (Doran) Siemering. She married George F. Yager in 1930 in Minneapolis. She was a resident of Sauk Centre area, living in Kendota Township and most recently at Park View Center, Melrose. The couple operated a veterinary practice for many years. She was member of United Church of Christ, Sauk Centre, past 6th District president of American Legion Auxiliary, and lay member of the Stearns County Social Services Board.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Beverly) Heideman, Brookfield, Wisc.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband who died in 1969.
