Death
A name card in the Ipswich Record Office states "Mr Lafflin ( -1841) suffers a fatal accident at a lime kiln" and references the Ipswich Jourbal 24.07.1841 and 31.07.1841.The only death that fits 1841 is this John. To suppoprt this is the Lafflin spelling which his children took.
I did not have time to look up the reference.
