Individual Details

William LAFLIN

( - )

This is the William who moved to Manningtree where he married and then moved to Poplar in eastLondon He was a carpenter, as were his brothers John & Philip. I suspect there was not enough work in Ringshall for 3 casrpenters and he moved on to a large town just down the road in Essex. Moving on to London would have offered him enormous employment opportunities with the massive housebuilding prograame to home the increasing population moving to towns and cities and off the land.
