Birth
In 1900, Nathan Henderson lives next door to William Carney & Phoeba. I believe these are surely Phoeba's parents although this does not exactly agree with the info recorded in "History in Headstones" In 1870, Nathan's birthplace was given as "Virginia".In 1860, Nathan's birthplace was given as Virginia. He was listed as age 13. Also his name was recorded by the enumerator as MATHEW L. Henderson. It is quite plain.
